Titan was a great artist oin Florence. He painted many portraits as well as religious and mythological scenes. He gained the title of count, many riches, and recieved many honors for his work by the time he died. His work influenced later artists. One of his most famous painting is The Holy Family and a Shepard.

Jan van Eyck was a master of oil painting. Some even say that he created the method of this type of painting. In one of his more famous pieces are a newly married couple in a formal bedroom. Van Eyck paid lots of attention on even the smallest details of this painting.

Albrecht Durer is a painter from Germany who is thought to be one of the greatest artists of the Northern Renaissance. He was a master of both perspective and fine detail. Even though he is considered a master painter, he is best known for his engravings. One popular engraving of Durer's is the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse which is a woodcut piece.
